ZHEP

ZHEP - established in September 1991 is an organisation engaged in adventure oriented activities and encourages awareness in people for preservation and conservation of environment and ecology.

The major activities are treks to Himalayas. ZHEP arranges various expeditions like ANNAPURNA CIRCUIT, PANCH KEDAR, MANI MAHESH GLACIER, KHATLING GLACIER in the Himalayas.

RANWA

RANWA (Research and Action in Natural Wealth Administration) is a registered Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) based in Pune. RANWA's Activities include

  • Research in Forest Biodiversity

  • Documentation concerning Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs)
  • Regimes related to biodiversity etc.
  • Nature Education in schools and Colleges

RANWA has completed Two Major Projects

  • Western Ghats Biodiversity Network.
  • BCPP (Biodiversity Conservation and Prioratisation Program).
                - Biosphere Reserves of India.
                - Sacred Elements of Nature in  India.

AFARM

Action for Agricultural Renewal in Maharashtra (AFARM) is a voluntary organisation formed for the collective benefit of the voluntary organisations through their own collective actions. Born out of an acute felt need for an apex institution to co-ordinate efforts of the voluntary organisations in their task for providing drinking water to villages, AFARM today provides a forum for interaction amongst its members and for the interaction between its members and other funding and developmental organisations including Government for all round NGO development.
